So lemme see if I'm understanding this correctly. The picture on the left shows tiles where the animals on the right have to be, so a smart approach would be to hit those ones first if you're looking for a specific animal? Twicedouble (talk)
- Correct. If you click on the check-marked squares, you are guaranteed to find at least one piece of the animal, using the least number of moves. --Dennis (talk) 10:04, 14 March 2014 (MST)
Monkey Findable in 4
You can find the monkey in four moves. For example, hit the 3rd and 4th tiles in the 2nd and 4th row.
Optimizing Moon Animals
Lunar Tick can be found in 3 moves. (2nd, 3rd and 4th tiles in the 4 column)
Tribble can be found in 4 moves. (The four bottom tiles in the middle row)
Jade Rabbit can be found in 9 moves: middle column, plus 1st-4th tile in 2nd column or 2nd-5th tile in 4th column.
- Thanks for this! You can edit the strategy template yourself in future at Template:Strategy
Edit: Just after posting this I realized that this analysis is only valid if there is only 1 animal to find. As that does not happen a majority of the time and given the complexity in analyzing all animal combinations, this might not be worth implementing after all. I have just added a tip in the strategy page that says in general its better to pick the inside tiles. That should suffice I think. Washyleopard (talk) 11:12, 10 March 2015 (MST)
This strategy section is an excellent guide but it could be better. Certain animals are much more likely to show up in some squares than others. Take the platypus for example, The strat guide correctly gives the 5 squares necessary to ensure you find 1 piece, but if I were to follow that guide, I would first hit the top center square. Statistically, the 3 center squares (in the center column) are twice as likely to hold a platypus piece than the top or bottom, so one should start there.
I suggest a 2+ color check mark system, green for first clicks, yellow for seconds, and perhaps red for thirds. I unfortunately have no idea how to implement this as the tables are already set up for checkmark/no checkmark.
For reference here is the platypus' strat guide as well as a Table I made of the likelihood of a piece in any spot.
S block animals
For the S block animals, like skunk, you should use the same strategy that you would use for the pig. No matter where an S-block pattern is, it will hit either one of the four squares.
Rescue important animals
Sometimes, when you don't have a lot of discobux and coins, It's better to rule out the ones that have the following descriptions:
Commons;Because that commons are the ones that pop up the most, so if you have mythical rare and common in a rescue,it's better to rescue the mythical, then the rare and then the common.
Ten animals in the space pen; When you have ten alike animals in the space pen,you can't rescue more alike animals and put them in the space pen, because that is the maximum of it and you can only free it. Although it's good to free the animals, but you can't get a lot of money back and it also interflects with the third one. So if you have ten animals in the space pen,it's better to not rescue this animal.
Diamond trophy animals; It interflects with the second one. When you have diamond trophies,it means that that animal has reached it's maximum freeing point,so because of that, you don't have other trophies. So when you have this problem and the second one,it's better not to rescue that animal.
Here are the things that you should do when you are low on coins and discobux:
Use space coins instead of the regular coins;Space coins allow you to get animals and it will cost no regular coins. Also when you have all 25 animals in the space habitats, they only let you free the animals and from expierience I can tell you that when you free it,it gives you a lot of money. So the space habitats are a good alternative.
Wait;If you wait, you can earn some money and you can go rescue some animals. When your waiting, you can play the funky bus mini game and improve your highest score. My highest score is 377.So you should wait or improve you funky bus highest scores.
